Shaparak is a Persian theater based on Bijan Mofid’s “Shaparak Khanoom”. This show was first premiered in Los Angeles in the year 2019, and it’s had three sold-out runs to this date, and it is now coming to Toronto!

The show starts with Butterfly falling into a Spider’s web (this scene takes place in a spider web off the ground - refer to the link below for pictures). 7 great actors featured in the show, in addition to a vocalist with an angelic and magical voice. 

One of the main goals of this show is to keep Persian literature alive; the show is about 90 minutes long, fully in Farsi, with English subtitles.
